ABOUT ROB SMITH:
Grand Slam Search is headed by Rob Smith, a Sales Director with over twenty years of experience in the Market Data Vending/Business Information marketplace where he had previously held senior management positions at companies such as Equifax, DataStream, Thomson Financial and Global Insight.
Having started his business life as a cold calling salesperson, he has spent the vast majority of his professional life managing client facing teams of sales people, account managers and support personnel. As a result of this, Rob has developed great insight into accurately identifying the successful character traits required by a candidate to succeed in these types of roles.
Following his successful sales/management career, he has since developed a thorough understanding of the recruitment/head hunting industry since 2005.
Rob is a sports fan and believes that, in order to achieve a “Grand Slam” (whether it is golf, tennis or rugby), you have to be right at the top of your game to succeed and this is the ethos he tries to instill in his professional life.
