Salary:
£50k/£80k OTE in first year, £100k in year two + benefits.

The Role:
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join a dynamic and growing company as a Business Development Manager based in the London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our client’s premier subscription service to new and existing customers in the UK and Southern Europe. As part of the core responsibilities, the new Business Development Manager will focus on primarily on new business, but will also have existing clients to manage and grow.

Experience Required:
  • Experience with proven track record, in successfully selling electronic financial information products into the financial, corporate and professional markets.
  • Ability to open up new opportunities.
  • Contacts within the Financial Industry are an additional advantage.
  • Ability to negotiate at senior management level.
  • A strong understanding of the business information research industry and associated products with experience within the buy side.
  • The ability to communicate with end users, knowledge workers and IT specialists to deploy information solutions.
  • Ability to think outside the box and sell solutions as well as standard services.
  • Ability to work with remote parties in a multi cultural and often pressured environment.
  • Diplomacy, persuasion and strong communication skills essential.
  • Additional languages such as Italian or Spanish would be an strong advantage.
